Disclaimer: I don't own anything, except for the storyline. Characters are original. Any name that happened to be the same are pure coincidence. Author's Note: One shot. Got inspired by my friend's fanfiction, so before I forget, I decided to write it down.



“Where am I?” she looked around and realized that the area around her was black. “I…. I don’t remember…”

“Hey! Asami! What are you doing? Over here over here!” a familiar voice called out, and in an instant, the black surrounding changed to her favorite place in her hometown, the park near her house. She turned and realized it was her crush, Kazuto calling for her.

“Kazuto? What are we doing here?” Asami asked, looking around. Kazuto immediately hit her head lightly. “Don’t you remember? We’re supposed to buy Ren-tan’s birthday present!”

Asami suddenly remembered, and hit her own head lightly. “Oh my, I am getting short term recently,”

“Asami! Asami! Stay with me! Asami!”

“Eh?” Asami sounded, before stopping in her tracks. “What’s wrong?” Kazuto asked.

“No, I thought I heard someone calling my name…”

“I’m the only one here though. Asami, are you okay?” Kazuto asked, worried.

Asami shaked her head, before the duo continued walking on the streets of the town in search of their friend’s birthday present.

“Happy birthday Ren-tan!” Asami and Kazuto greeted together, before they took the envelope on the table and handed it to Ren. “Ah! Thanks! Can I open it?”

Asami and Kazuto nodded their head, before Ren opened the envelope. “No way! Isn’t this the tickets for Tokyo Disneyland? You’re giving it to me? Serious?!”

Ren examined the tickets carefully. Asami and Kazuto smiled at each other, before they took out one of each from their pocket. “Ren-tan, let’s go together!” Kazuto said, before swinging his hand over Ren’s shoulder.

Asami hit the arm of Ren, and continued, “It’ll be fun for this summer vacation!”

Ren controlled his tears from flowing down, “Arigatou!”

“Asami! Asami!”

“UWAH!” Asami screamed in delight when she saw the landscape sitting right in front of her. “UWAH. It was worth paying the sum of money to come here. It’s awesome, ne, Ren-tan, Kazuto?” Asami exclaimed, before she run over to the booth selling some stuff toys.

The trio started riding all the rides that they have wanted to and started taking tons of photographs. It has been the trio’s dream to one day come to the Disneyland together and create special memories there.

Of course, the trio has been childhood friends ever since they were young. Kazuto was Asami’s crush, but she decided that she would not confess to him since she’s happy the way they were now. Ren, on the other side, have special feelings for Asami and Asami herself knows about it. However, the two agreed to keep this a secret from Kazuto and most importantly, their own feelings hidden.

“Here, vanilla ice cream,” Kazuto said, handing Asami’s over to her. She took it over and smiled while giving her gratitude to Kazuto.

“I wish we could stay like this forever,” Asami mumbled.

“You can’t. Asami, you need to go,” Kazuto suddenly blurted out. Ren looked over to Kazuto, and with a small smile on his face, he looked at Asami.

“Asami, Kazuto is right. You don’t belong here. Everyone else is waiting for you, you need to go,”

“W—What are both of you talking about?”

“Asami, I like you. Both of us like you. We like you that’s why you need to go,” Kazuto said. Asami stood up, before she dropped her ice cream onto the floor. Kazuto placed his hands onto her shoulders, before a painful expression have came. He smiled, before turning Asami around and pushing her slightly on her back.

“Arigatou, for all the memories, Asami. Thank you… For all these years,” Kazuto said.

“Although you rejected me, I really like you. I don’t regret not knowing you, Asami. Live on, and happily,” Ren said.

Asami, before she could say anything, returned to the pitch blackness. She kneeled onto the floor. “Kazuto… Ren…. Where are you?”

A light shined above, before she reached her hand out. “Asami! Asami!”

“Someone… is calling for me…”

What greeted her were a white ceiling, and her parents face right in front. “Mom? Dad? Wh—Where am I?”

“OH thank goodness you’re awake! You worried us so much!” Tears started flowing down from her mother’s eyes, before Asami questioned.

“Where am I?”

“You’re in the hospital. You got into an accident, and went unconscious. I saw your finger moving and desperately called for you. Seriously you worried me so much!”

“Accident?”

Memories of the accident started flashing back into her head. She remembered. Asami, Ren and Kazuto promised to go to the town on a weekend and the train they were in got caught in the railway accident.

“Where’s… Ren and Kazuto?”

Her mother heard the names of her friends, and instantly froze. Her mother turned, before she could say anything, her father spoke.

“When the train crashed, both of them survived. However, you were unconscious. They run over to you and realized you got stabbed around your stomach. They did an immediate medical treatment of you. However, the train jerked and while trying to protect you…. The beam of the train fall onto them…”

Her father paused.

“They passed away,”

"Souka, it was their voice that were calling me back then..."

The wind started blowing, and three figures were seen at the bench, with their hands all interlocking each other.
